Valentine's Day Lust List...

As I was trawling through the usual suspects this morning, trying to find something to wear for drinks tomorrow night, I was totally inspired to do a post on Things To Wear On Valentine's Day.
There is so much on the high street based on LOVE that I wanted to collate my absolute favourites and bring them to you. Afterall, it is just over two weeks until the day of lurve, and if you have grand plans to go out or stay in, you might want something new to wear...

ASOS

I'm a big fan of this cheeky t-shirt. Only £12!

Single and proud? Tell the world with this brilliant slogan t-shirt £32. Great length on this too.

Topshop have some really fun choices in lots of different colours...

This awesome sweater is available in a few colours, including the hot colour of 2018. Only £28 too!

In love with this cropped sweat top too, the colour combo is gorgeous. £26.

Elsewhere on the high street:

This knit is everywhere right now and I really want it! £59 from &otherstories

Want to make a subtle nod to Valentine's Day? Do it with these heart print wide leg trousers from Next. They also come in tall lengths. £32.

And there you have it.

Spring Zara Haul

Let me just start by saying I am fully aware that I have a problem. I am addicted to Zara Kids.
I've purchased lots recently for Matilda's wardrobe and also for the new baby, thinking that once I am on maternity leave and receiving the terrible statutory pay, I won't be able to treat my girls (so weird writing that!) as much as I would like.

Zara is killing it for me with their girls collection for spring/summer so I wanted to share the bits I've picked up in the last few weeks.

First up is this gorgeous embroidered striped blouse. Embroidery is huge for spring/summer and I like Matilda to be stylish, which may sound ridiculous to some but as I've said before I love fashion - even though my threads leave a lot to be desired! Part of being a mother is giving everything to the kids and I want my kids to look their best.
The jeans! All the heart eyes for these mom-style ups which also feature cute embroidery. Unfortunately as I type they aren't online but try your local Zara to see if you can find them.
These raffia-esque skater shoes are the perfect Spring shoe, ideal for the transitional weather when boots are too much but a sandal isn't enough. They will go with everything too!

I love these items together but the beauty of a denim shirt is that it can go with everything, great if your'e trying to create a capsule wardrobe. This particular shirt is really lightweight, so is perfect for this time of year and is still available here in most sizes.
The leggings caught my eye because of the cute print, but it is really bothering me that in this photo it looks like one leg is longer than the other! Zara do these with a few different prints on, and are a bargain at £8.99, you can find them here.

Ok more grey from me with these jeans, a total steal at £9.99 and they come in 5 different colours. Again, I find they go with so much because of the pale tone and look cute turned up.
The picture doesn't show the glitter on the jumper but that is probably what drew me to it as I love anything sparkly and I really liked it with these jeans. It comes in other colours and is still available in all sizes online.

This striped shirt isn't online but it's a recent purchase so could be picked up in store. I love blue, stripes and embroidery as well as grey if you couldn't already tell. Another shirt that is perfect for Spring, I love the casual vibe with these jeans and Converse.

Zara's mid-season sale has started today so of course I am eyeing up more items to buy! I've also been stocking up on newborn bits for baby number 2, so I will bring those to you in a separate post!

Bank Holiday Haul

Hi guys!

I hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend?

I had to work on Saturday (bleurgh!) however, Sunday was spent brunching with the girls at our favourite spot Tom at TwentyOne. I had some delicious buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup and fruit. Totally healthy right?

Then it was time for date afternoon/night. Andrew had booked for us to watch the new Jungle Book film, we'd been dying to see it since it came out a few weeks ago. Needless to say it was brilliant so I would highly recommend you go see it!  We had dinner at Cafe Rouge after, I'd never been before, thought it was pretty average - have any of you been?

Andrew had also said he wanted to take me shopping before the film to treat me to a few bits and that was the original point of this post, I wanted to show you the pieces I had picked up.

We are going away in June and I am trying to build my summer/holiday capsule wardrobe, but I ended up with a weird range of items.

The first item I went for was this pretty chambray top from River Island. I thought it would look lovely with some light boyfriend jeans and sandals, ideal for this transitional period we are in.

I am obsessed with blue and white. So chic. This sleeveless jacket is again from River Island and I can't wait to throw it over skinny jeans and a white t-shirt.

Andrew actually picked this top out for me, I wasn't overwhelmed when I looked at it on the hanger but when I put it on it covered a multitude of sins, the colour looked great with my new brunette barnet and I envisioned it as my new go-to top for casual drinks or dinner. Also from River Island it comes in other colours.

The wide leg trousers above are from Zara. The fabric is light and comfy so I thought these would be great for the evening on holiday, teamed with a white or cream top and a tan. Perfect. I've got some espadrille wedges that I purchased on ASOS last summer that would go great with these as they are rather long too.

This kaftan from H&M made me feel like a Goddess when I tried it on and I knew instantly it was going straight to the till point with me. On holiday we usually head down to breakfast about 8, then straight to the pool so this would be ideal for that.

That is it for this haul, I have a few bits sitting in my basket on ASOS that I am deliberating over and we also have a family wedding on Sunday that I currently have no dress for - uh oh. So no doubt I'll have a few more bits to show you in the next few weeks.

What have you guys been buying this spring?

Summer Wishlist: Pale Pinks, Denim & Mulberry

With my birthday coming up (9th June guys!) I am starting to think of items on my wishlist. There is no price limit on said list - just things I adore and are pretty to look at.

I decided to put together an outfit, perfect for wearing out for lunch on my birthday, if someone loved me enough to purchase all of the above - I'd be one happy lady!

Mulberry will forever be my go-to bag designer of choice, I had my first Mulberry bought for me on my 21st Birthday - a Mitzi Messenger in black that I use everyday. I know the Willow isn't the newest of designs but I still lust after this nude one every time I see it. I could do with a more summery shade, rather than using black constantly. You can purchase this Mulberry beauty here.

I am still all over the ripped jeans look for summer, and you simply can't go wrong paired with a beautiful white top/tee. My ASOS Brady ripped jeans now just feature gaping holes so I really need a new pair - right? The first pair can be found at www.intermixonline.com and the second are Topshop!

Sliders: OMG how amazing are these beauties? I am a total magpie, anything with gems/sequins/glitter and I cannot resist so these MSGM pool sliders are no exception. £435 - from Browns.

The loafers are Office and at £65 - a much more affordable present! Plus this really cute top is Topshop and only £23, which I may just have to treat myself to come payday!

What items are you lusting after on this drab, dreary friday?!

Easter Weekend Fun

I hope you all had a great Easter - I worked Saturday & Monday so made sure I enjoyed myself on Sunday.
This meant seeing the family and a chance to wear an outfit I'd been putting together in my head for a while.

I love taking a casual look to the next level with a statement piece, a great pair of shoes or some serious bling, and I think this outift really showcases that.

Jacket - River Island // T-Shirt - River Island // Jeans - ASOS // Heels - River Island
Necklace - Topshop // Watch - Michael Kors
Firstly the oversized blazer, I bought this a few months ago from River Island and I absolutely love it. Always a sucker for anything animal print - I had to purchase immediately! It is really soft and therefore very comfortable and can be styled in so many ways. I like to fold over the sleeves of mine to showoff my arm candy!

Then the jeans! When I saw the ripped look popping up on blogs and maagzines etc, I knew this was another trend that would work really well with my personal style. These beauties I bought from ASOS for only £40. I'd never bought jeans from there before so was curious to see what the fit would be like and the quality but I am seriously impressed. I always wear mine rolled up to show off whatever is on my feet!
However, I actually went to buy another pair yesterday but they don't seem to be on the website anymore - gutted! The rips were not that big when I first wore them, but with every wear they seem to get bigger - I am putting this down to my wintery thighs, when I sit down I can hear the rips reminding me I've got to shed a few lbs!

I've had these shoes for just over a year now, purchased from River Island whilst on a girls trip to Manchester - again I had my eye on them for a while.
They are really comfortable as the sole is really squidgy (!) so I can wear them all day with no bother at all. Amazing!
The gold detailing luxe up the shoe and I am still going for the hardware trend, who doesn't love a buckle or four?!!

The t-shirt is another old purchase from River Island that I had bought to go under some dungarees I'd bought in there too - did anyone else buy into that trend?!!?
Then the necklace - ah the necklace! I have wanted my name in pendant form ever since Carrie Bradshaw had hers in Sex And The City - remember when she loses it in her Dior purse whilst in Paris? And then The Russian buys her that diamond beauty she ends up breaking and leads her to Big? Anyway I digress...
When I spotted some name necklaces hanging in my local Topshop store, I raced towards it like a total magpie and eagerly thumbed through each name thinking 'they won't have Chloe, I know they won't' and then to my utter dismay (and delight of course!) I found my little name at the back!
Happy Chloe!

So what do you think of the outfit? What did you get up to over the Easter weekend?
Here are some photos of my family fun day - enjoy!

My gorgeous Goddaughter Lyla in her pretty tutu with my friend Laura - so much love for this little lady : )

Delicious traditional roast lamb dinner at Mum & Stepdad's house!

These aren't just any Easter chocolates!

Daffodils & Prosecco - the perfect Spring combination

My baby sister Claudia & her pug - Albert (who she thinks is an actual human child!)

Me enjoying some prosecco - again!

For me, spring is all about having flowers in every possible space at home - like these little beauties!
Would love to hear your comments!

Casual Tuesday

Top - Topshop £24
So today saw Mother and I head down to the beautiful city of Canterbury. I had a bridal make up lesson with the amazing Anna at the Bobbi Brown counter in Fenwicks, I've always been a fan of Bobbi Brown products but don't seem to actually own many at the minute (that changed after the make-up tutorial!)

New Balance 420 Trainers - ASOS - £60
I recently bought a pair of New Balance trainers, and they feature heavily in my day to day style. I usually pair them with my favourite jeans and a jumper. Today was of course no exception, my super comfy River Island slim leg/skinny dark blue jeans - although I could almost call them a jegging (hate that word!) as they are very stretchy and my neon ribbed Topshop jumper I purchased in February.

Miu Miu Sunglasses £215 - available now at eyewearbrands.com
I had seen these sunglasses on Millie Mackintosh and Miranda Kerr back in December 2012, I was heading to London a few days later so went straight to the Miu Miu store in Bond Street but was informed the colour I wanted was limited edition and had completely sold out! The sales assistant in the store called Harvey Nichols, Selfridges etc, but alas, there were none! But then one of my Mum's fellow blogging friends suggsted Eyewearbrands.com and TAHDAH - I found them! They are my babies.

Michael Kors Rose Gold Large Watch - £229
I love giving my casual wardrobe a dash of glam with my large man style Michael Kors watch - I think it can instantly update any look actually, and I wear mine constantly. Amazon have some amazing offers on Michael Kors watches at the minute, perfect if you can't afford a Rolex!
Any outfit can get instant style brownie points with a great pair of shoes, a beautful wristwatch or some seriously special sunnies!

What are your go-to accessories for updating any look?
